FOP 228 Mission

The Wagoner Co. FOP 228 provides critical financial and legal support to members and their families during times of crisis or hardship. We support both active and retired law enforcement officers through professional or personal challenges.

Our Vision

The Wagoner County FOP 228 strives to be a trusted
and respected partner in the communities we serve, lifting up and supporting our members and their families by providing compassionate and comprehensive financial and legal support and expertise in times of need.

FOP 228 Officers

Jake Carey, President

Jake Carey is an investigator with the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office. He's been with the agency since 1975, and joined the FOP in 1999. Carey was elected FOP president in 2024 and will serve in that capacity until 2026.

Danny Elliott, Treasurer

Danny Elliott is a lieutenant over the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office investigative division. After joining the office in 2015, Elliott served as a patrol deputy until 2020 when he became an investigator.
